I think Cael was pretty excited about his birthday. He has been singing the Happy Birthday song and practicing blowing out his candles for weeks. Casey and I decorated the living room Wednesday night after he went to bed and Thursday when he woke up he was so excited. He loved the balloons more than anything of course. We bought him a big wheel and I'm so disappointed that he can't reach the pedals. It is going to be quite a while before he grows in to it. Guess we will have to find something else.
That night Cael's grandparents came to visit. Grandma and Grandpa Wade bought him a basketball hoop and Grandma and Grandpa Price bought him some nice farm animals. He loved everything. We are having a party for him on Sunday with Colts blessing but I made a quick cupcake for him to practice blowing out the candles on.
It was a good day. I can't believe he is two already. He also got some practice driving this week. Casey left him in the back seat of his Jeep while he ran some things in to the steel building real quick and Cael put the Jeep in to gear and drove it in to the building door, trapping Casey inside. Luckily, Casey had his cell phone with him and he was able to call me to run across the street and back the Jeep up so that Casey could get out. Cael wasn't crying when I got there but he was a little worried. I guess we learned a good lesson there.
