Kimber's Baptism

Tonight the boys and I went to Kimber's baptism. Cael was pretty curious about what was going on, but he had fun at the "party". We put together a little gift for her. A magnet board, some jewelry and some nail polish.

7 months, 29 months

These two little monkeys of mine are growing too quick. They are fun and like to play hard. Cael is so rough with Colt but Colt is a tough little guy and I'm pretty sure one day he is going to be that one that is rough with Cael. My mom keeps telling me that I had two older brothers that were that way. Cody grew up to be the big little brother.

I haven't been good at taking pictures lately but at least Cael is helping me out but taking pictures of Colt all of the time. Colt is crawling all over the place. He isn't really sitting up yet. He's just too content rolling around on the floor to practice sitting up. For the most part he army crawls, but he keeps practicing pushing up on his knees and elbows.

We had a free cowboy hat from Ogden Pioneer Days and Cael wants to be a cowboy.

This is what most of our summer consists of. Changing sprinklers and cutting hay. Its kinda hard right now, but one day our boys will be big enough to do it and help dad out and I hope we still have the opportunity to raise them this way. I hope they are as hard working as their dad is.

We've had a virus going around at our house which consists of red eyes, fever, diarrhea, some respiratory symptoms, and antibiotics doesn't help a virus, but Cael also got an ear infection with his. Lovely. Colt's symptoms only lasted 36-48 hours but Cael's went on for about a week. Miserable little boys.

We left Cael's door cracked while he was sick so I could check on him occasionally and apparently in the middle of night he likes to sleep on the floor.

This kid is a little piggy. He doesn't turn food down for anything.

There was a guy from California here on vacation that was on the side of the road taking pictures of Casey cutting hay. Casey went over and asked him if he would share them with us and the guy did! We looked up his website and he is a photographer in Hollywood. He takes pictures for movies (like the photos that you see on the cases of DVD's in the store) and there was a whole list of movies that he had photographed for. Pretty cool.

Wicked

Mom works for a great company; Redmond and they paid for all their employees to go to dinner and the play Wicked at Capitol Theater. We sat on the 8th row and the two seats in front of us were empty so we had an awesome view. The costumes are fabulous and the actors are so talented. It was so nice to have a girls night out with mom. And I'm sure dad was relieved to get out of going.

Colts first haircut

I finally broke down and got Colt a haircut. I was attached to his long hair but he looks so cute with his hair cut.

July 4, 2014 Camping Trip

We went camping over Deer Creek in the camp grounds over the 4th of July Holiday. We had a really good time. We went up Wednesday night and came home Saturday afternoon.

The first day we took the kids to a little flooded area in the road to cool off. At first Cael wasn't interested at all but after a while he dove right in. There were a couple four wheelers come through and one guy was trying to show off and splash all the kids and he ended up tipping his four wheeler over on top of himself. Idiot. Wish I had got pictures of it. Worst part was the he had a little boy on with him and he was pretty scared.

This gave me a chuckle. My sweet little boy says "Jaymi, Jaymi I need help, so she runs over to help him and he splashes her". Typical boy right?

Cael saw dad roll his pants up and he thought well I'm just going to drop my britches. No big deal.

Colt liked eating his dinner in the bumbo.

Any downtime at the camp spot was spent by Cael and Jenson fighting over the four wheeler and ranger.
It rained for like 5 minutes and when it cleared by had double rainbows.

We also took the kids to the outhouse at Kohler's old cabin. I will have to post pictures of it later. So cute.

On the 4th we went to Cascade Springs and walked around for a minute and then we went down lower on the creek and took the kids panning for gold and fishing.

That night was a free for all on the sugar. It was out of control. The kids turned the radio on and played drums and danced and had a good time. Then we drove to the top of the mountain and watched all the fireworks down in the valley. Cael loved it.

Colt rolled off the couch in the trailer and scraped his nose on the carpet somehow. It was so sad.

They were both out cold in the truck Saturday morning before we even go going.
