Grandma Wade's Four C's: Clay, Carter, Cael, and Colt

Cael loves playing with grandma's chickens but it's even funner when his cousins are there to play too.

They drove Clay's gator, fed the chickens, and gathered eggs.

PreSchool

I'm not going to lie, I think that I may love school more than Cael does. Simply because how happy he is about going and when I pick him up he is so excited and I can tell that he soaks in every single thing that Mrs. Duke says to him. Today was his 3rd day and I feel like he has aged a year in the last two weeks. He makes me so proud and when I see him happy, it makes me just beam with love and admiration.

The first day of school the kids just got to know each other and Mrs. Duke.

The second day was "All about Me" and they made this cute little book out of a little questionnaire that Cael did with me at the pre school open house and a picture that Mrs. Duke took with them at the open house.

Today the kids got to tell about their families. Cael took a little 4x6 photo of our family and they made a little family art project.

On Thursday Cael gets to take something for show and tell.

This is a fun new stage for us. Its a learning experience for him and me. I hope that he continues to love school and be a good student. I'm glad that I have such a great employer that allows me to work from home so I can easily take him to school and pick him up and have these memories with my kids. Life is good and our blessings are many.

Cael's First Day of Preschool

Cael was so excited to go to school today. He was so brave. I could tell when I took him inside he was a little nervous. He didn't cry but he wanted to hug me and kiss me and hang on me for a minute. Another little girl was crying and Cael was really concerned that she was upset. I love that he is such a kind, tender person, but such a wild little boy at the same time.

We met Mrs. Duke a couple weeks ago and Cael really liked her and I know that she will love him and teach him so many great things.

When I picked him up today Mrs. Duke said that he had a good day. He was nice to everyone, was good at sharing, did all his school work, and ate his snack. She text me and said that she loves him already.

I asked Cael if he had made any friends at school today and who and he said "yes, Mrs. Duke."

I can't believe my baby boy is already going to school. My eyes filled with tears a couple times today but I held it together. I'm so proud of him and am filled with so much love for him. I'm such a lucky momma.
