More Exciting News

Just when we thought life was crazy enough and couldn't get any better; Casey and I submitted our application to the city for our building permit to build our new house in Midway! We are pretty excited. We bought a building lot up by Soldier Hollow about a year ago and had planned on waiting awhile to build but have been steered in a different direction. We had some house plans drawn and engineered and I am so excited! I love our home now; its on a quiet little dead end road in a good neighborhood, we love our yard, and Casey has spent a lot of time the last few years updating and remodeling to where our house is practically new, but it is a little small for a growing family and we don't have a lot of storage space. I have to admit it will be nice to have that big walk in pantry, tons of linen closets, a walk in closet, a cold storage and regular storage room, I could go on and on. Casey is generaling the job and getting bids already and hopefully we are in by mid to end of summer.

Working From Home

Not many people would choose my new office space below over my corner office with the nice mountain view......

but they don't get to look at this all day...........

Casey and I recieved another blessing that was more than we could ever hope for....... my boss decided to let me work from home. How amazing is that? Don't get me wrong, it has been real hard and sometimes I have to work in the middle of the night to get stuff done, but I get to stay home with my baby, I don't have to pay for daycare, and I still get a paycheck. I have to go in to the office one day a week and on that day instead of trying to haul Cael in with me, one of his grandmas will watch him so that I can hurry in and get work done.

1 Month Old

Oh my little charming baby boy Cael, I can't believe you are already one month old. You are such a sweet little baby and I'm so proud that you are mine. People are probably sick of me saying all of the time "he's so cute isn't he?" I remember the first night that we brought you home, dad and I were scared to death. He drove below the speed limit the whole way home. We were used to having monitors all over your body telling us if something was wrong. We got grandma Tami on the phone and got her over here right away to spend the night with us. Every little peep that you made, we were jumping out of bed to save you. You are such a good baby and we are so blessed to have you as our own.

I bought you a swing for your one month birthday! Lucky you! But I guess it was really a gift for me, since you love to sit in it in the office while mommy is at work.

Daddy is so excited to have a little hunting buddy. Yes I dressed my baby in camo and layed him in some moose horns for his baby announcement. I will have to save the cowboy boots and chaps for his next photo session.....

Going Home!

We were so excited when they discharged our liitle bundle. We were expecting another day but he was doing so good. We loved the Utah Valley hospital nurses and are so glad we chose Doctor Berry.
