Crawling!

In the middle of all of the Halloween excitement we got us a little crawler. I was kinda excited about it at first but he is in to EVERYTHING and he's not even going full speed yet! I think I might be in to some trouble.

 

Happy Halloween!

Cael didn't quite know what to think of Halloween. We took him around to Trick or Treat. He saw Grandpa and Grandma Wade and Uncle Cooper, Great Grandpa and Grandma Provost, cousins at Aunt Mindy's house, Grandma and Grandpa Price, Great Grandma Price, and then all the cousins came to our house. He was a worn out little tiger.

 

8 Months

Cael turning EIGHT months old was definitely funner than me turning 27 years old. I am happy to be able to share the 27th day of the month with my blue eyed boy.

 

8 months old is a lot of fun. Cael is talking like crazy but the only thing that makes any sense is MAMAMAMAMA and DADADADADA. I've read that he doesn't understand what those words are until after he turns a year old though. He is starting to patti cake. He still doesn't have any teeth (I read that is supposed to happen between 4 and 7 months; I guess you can't believe everything that you read.) He still isn't full on crawling but he gets around pretty good. He can move from his belly back to his bum which is very convenient for me. He also keeps pushing up to his feet and is starting to grab hold of things and try and pull himself to his feet. I would have to say his favorite thing is being naked. He just squeals and laughs and smiles every time he's naked.

 

Casey shot a small buck on Friday (long story) so he was able to take us out for our birthday on Saturday. We went to Snake Creek Grill for dinner (kinda fancy but Cael hardly made a peep the whole time) and then we went to the Wilderness Circuit Finals Rodeo. I also spent a couple hours taking more pictures. They are far from professional but they sure look a heck of a lot better than the pictures that I take with my cell phone.

 

I'm looking forward to many more birthdays with my little man.

 

 

My Blue Eyed Boy

Casey has a pretty decent Nikon camera that we never use because we don't know how to use it. I keep telling him that I would like to take some photography classes and photoshop classes so I can have cute pictures of Cael whenever I want. I decided I should do some messing around on my own before I invest any time and money into classes. This is day one on our deck. We'll see where it goes from here.

 

We moved in finally!

There is still a lot of work to do but we finally moved in to our house on Friday Sept 28th and I love it! We had to go without our granite countertops for a few days but it is here and now we can get our gas stove and dishwasher hooked up and mirrors put on and blinds and list never ends. It's so nice to be home.
