Garden is Started

I started my garden April 25th. I planted peas, carrots, lettuce, and onions for now. In a couple weeks I will plant the rest. I wasn't planning on doing as big of a garden this year, but as I went through the seeds I had leftover from last year I thought "I might as well grow vegetables as weeds" plus I have all the seed that I need.

Easter 2014

Our boys had quite the Easter this year. The Sunday before Easter Cael and I painted some Easter eggs for a minute until his focus went somewhere else but I think he thought it was fun. He thought we were having an "Easter Party". He talked about Easter eggs and the Easter party all week long.

The Saturday before Easter Cael went and played with cousin Clay at Grandma Wade's house all day on the trampoline. Grandma Wade gave him an Easter present. She got both Cael and Colt floaties for the water because we bought season passes to Seven Peaks for the Summer.

Easter morning, Cael and Colt had an Easter hunt for some eggs and their baskets from the Easter bunny. Cael had some garden tools, a kite, some bubbles, some summer clothes, a coloring book, and some candy in his basket. Colt had a bottle, some binkies, a toy, and a new pair of shoes and some candy for mom. Cael was so excited about the whole hunt. Everytime he would find an egg he would squeal and laugh and giggle and run and put it on the couch.

After church we went to Grandma Price's house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. We had the kids all waiting in the basement to hear the rules of the hunt and as soon as we opened the doors they all took off running. Cael was so excited when he saw candy on the ground, he just kept running and screaming before he stopped to pick some up.

He flew his kite with his dad for a minute when he got bored with the hunt.

Then he went upstairs and decorated a bunny.

And wrestled with his cousins.

It was a long weekend and we had a great time. The last two weeks Cael has had a good time at church. He has finally decided that Nursery is not so bad after all and the nursery leaders are probably exhausted by the time they have wrestled him for two hours.

My big helper

Cael has really grown up and changed alot since Colt was born. He wants to help with baby brother now and he is learning to be soft. I was really busy with work the other day so Cael was helping out. He read Colt a couple books. And he played some music and sang some songs for him. I don't want them to grow up so fast but I can't wait until they can play together.

My Little Quilter

I've been making a few baby quilts for some baby showers that I have gone to lately or will be going to and Cael catches on to things way too quick. We turn our backs for a second and he is using grandma's long arm quilting machine......

Cael is in the cattle business

Cael bought himself ten cow/calf pairs to raise over the summer. Oh boy! I think his Dad is going to be busy putting up hay!
