Zoo

Grandma Wade and I took the boys to the zoo today. It ended up being a perfect day to go. School is back in so there weren't a ton of people and the weather was just right. The kids loved seeing all the animals. We got there right when they opened and were done by lunch time. 

First Day of School

Today is Cael's last first day of PreSchool. We love Mrs. Duke so much! We were excited to send Colt to her for school next year but she is retiring. This is her last year teaching. We are glad that we could have her for two years. 

Done with Diapers!!

My little Colt decided he wanted to be a big boy and start using the potty. I had kept the idea in his head for months by randomly putting him on the toilet any time he got in the bathtub or changed his clothes and he would use it all the time, but I didn't really put any pressure on him. Then he just started telling me when he needed to go. Both boys were pretty easy to potty train and they were both in under pants about 4 months before their 3rd birthday.

August Swimming Lessons

I signed Cael up for another series of Swim Lessons. He remembered everything he had learned in May and made some improvements. 

Casey's Bday

I surprised Casey with a really expensive paid of binoculars with range finder for his birthday. He was pretty shocked. Wasn't expecting them at all.
