Salt Lake Temple - September 9 2014 - Families are Forever

Casey and I received our endowments and were sealing together with our boys to be a family forever. It was the best day. We had to be there at 7 am to have time to take our boys to the nursery and be ready for the 9 am session. Cael was upset to be left in the nursery but he got over it quick. The temple workers read books with him and he mowed the lawn in the nursery with their toy lawn mower. They had a lot of fun things for him to do.

We were sealed by Ellis Ivory (Ivory Homes) and it was a real tear jerker when they brought our two little guys in to the sealing room. They looked so cute in all of their white. Colt wore a white romper and Cael had on a white button up shirt, white pants and tie. They were pushing Colt in a little stroller they had covered in white. Cael was teasing the little old ladies who were temple workers out in the hallway by hiding his rubber duck.

After the sealing we went out on the temple grounds and had some family pictures taken and then we went to eat at the Lion House for lunch.

Families members that came were: Jay and  Becky, Randy and Tami, LaVaughn, Peggy and Vance, John and Brenda, Jason and Jen, Cory and Cari with Ava and Tysen, Mindy and Maylee, Cooper and Meghan and Carter, and our friends Sam and Darcy Hass.

It was a perfect day. We had overcast weather through pictures and as we were headed to the car after lunch it started pouring rain. We were going to take Cael to Hogle Zoo afterward and even drove there and sat in the parking lot for awhile but we will have to make it up to him another day.
